L'Shanah Tovah (Happy New Year)! Last night was the beginning of the
Rosh Hashanah. During this time of reflection and rejoicing, much of the celebration happens at the dinner table.

In case you weren't aware, today is
Park(ing) Day, a yearly event where businesses and volunteers take the time to construct parks in parking spaces in an effort to make the world a greener place.
We'll be hosting a special taste challenge at
CasaSugar's Sweet Spot Park, so stop by between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.

Wow, North and I had such a relaxing
Labor Day – an extra long stroll ending with a frolic at our favorite beach! What are your favorite activities to do with your furry friends, indoors and out, on your time off? Share how you spent yesterday (or any days off this

Growing up, my cousins and I used to sit through Easter brunch waiting for the egg hunt to begin. Before we started the highly anticipated contest, we topped off our perfectly pressed holiday garb with handcrafted crowns.
To see how to make some Easter tiaras and masks, .

When I was a wee one, my sister and I always had matching bunny slippers. In following with tradition, I gave her first daughter a pair a few years back wanting to christen her toes with some floppy eared friends, too. To learn about the soft shoes,
I found a plush pair of rabbit toes from
Bunnies by the Bay.

Guinness's plan to make St Patrick's Day an official US holiday is either a courageous campaign on behalf of Irish Americans, creative marketing, or both. The beer company is pairing everyone's favorite Irish holiday with politics. "Proposition 3-17"
would make St Patrick's Day an official US Holiday, just like President's Day, the Fourth of July, Martin Luther King Jr.

If you're still together with your significant other, you've got 22 more days until you're out of the danger zone according to January's issue of Shape. Research shows that 56 percent of breakups happen between Thanksgiving and Valentine's Day. Sure, the holidays are a stressful time for everyone, but I would have thought that more people would break up once Spring had sprung, not when you want a warm body to cuddle up with.

I love the holidays for many reasons, but for many other reasons I am excited for them to finally be over. I can't think of the last time I didn't get sick over the holidays and this past holiday is no exception. From constantly traveling to having a jam-packed schedule, I always find myself a little under the weather at some point.

Whether your day is filled with sun or snow, I wish you a most wonderful holiday! I hope that everyone is spending time with family, friends, and fun gifts. Don't forget to keep a
close eye on your pets today .

Hey, Santa! You dropped something. But can I ask you a question?
