During the
South Beach Festival,
Rachael Ray's Burger Bash is one of the weekend's most coveted tickets. Naturally the event planners decided to recreate the party at the
New York City counterpart. I was lucky (or unlucky — that many burgers made me sick, literally!) enough to attend the party last Friday night.

On Saturday night
FabSugar hosted her annual summer luau. Instead of throwing a regular luau, Fab's party had a sophisticated, chic
black and white theme. While Fab created the look of the
luau, I was in charge of the
snacks and
specialty cocktail.

Saturday night at the
Aspen Classic is all about celebrating
Food and Wine magazine's best new chefs. For twenty years, the publication's selected and highlighted the cuisine of 10 outstanding chefs. Many of the chosen chefs — past Best New Chefs include
Tom Colicchio,
Daniel Boulud, and
Thomas Keller — have grown into culinary superstars.

Last Wednesday night the Sugar Network hosted a
private screening of
Sex and the City. Naturally the movie was followed by a fabulous fete. I helped plan the
after party and now I'm going to share all of the wonderful details with you.

Wednesday night was huge for us here at Sugar headquarters: we hosted a private screening of the
Sex and the City movie! The extravaganza involved
glamorous outfits,
gorgeous looks, a plush red carpet, and a fantastic after party.
The event was held at a gutted-out, old Limited Store in the
Embarcadero Center.

Last Friday night
FabSugar and I hosted a
Sex and the City Marathon. From the tasty snacks and colorful cocktails — inspired by episodes from the show — to the competitive trivia game and
outrageous outfits, the party was fabulous, fun, and a total success. To

Last Thursday night, I attended one of my favorite parties of the year: Taste 2008. Taste is a fundraiser for
Root Division — an organization here in San Francisco — that provides studio space for up-and-coming artists in exchange for their services as art teachers. Food and art expertly clash at this event that invited some of SF's top restaurants to create dishes.

Last Thursday night I had the wonderful opportunity to hop on a plane, throw on a
fabulous dress, and head to a party. The party — a
blowout bash hosted by
TechCrunch and
PopSugar — had 2,000 guests and tons of
teched-out demos. To find out more about the party, click on the "Start" button.

Last Thursday night I was invited to
Wine Enthusiast's big wine bash,
Toast of Town. Held at the
War Memorial Opera house, the fête was four floors filled with wine and food. To see what the party was like, check out some noteworthy wines, and read some fun tips I picked up at the event, click the "Start Slideshow" button below.

Well, my
half birthday party was last Thursday and it was fabulous fun! Since I gave you all of the
pre-party details, I thought I'd take you behind the scenes of the sweet soirée. Here's my post-party thoughts, as well as a closer look at the party.
