Although every dish on the menu for my
movie club meeting features corn, I couldn't find a corn cocktail recipe. Thus, I looked for a refreshing concoction that would pair with the
corn cakes and corn and zucchini pizzettas. This tequila sunrise punch is quick and simple to make for a crowd.

In
People magazine's
100 most beautiful people issue,
Food Network host Ingrid Hoffmann talks about her love of avocados — as both food and conditioner. She says she mashes up avocado and puts it in her shower cap to moisturize her hair. I've heard of people using other foods in their beauty routines, including lemons, eggs, beer, and olive oil.

While Tinseltown was partying at
The Oscars, our favorite celebrity chefs were demonstrating their skills at the
South Beach Wine and Food Festival. While there is definitely a lot of partying going on, during the day the chefs displayed their culinary skills and talked about their books. Naturally some of them did with a beer in hand, and all of them did it with a huge smile on their face.
Ingrid Hoffmann loves making the traditional Latin seafood dish pictured below. Do you know what it's called?

A few weeks ago YumSugar and I were lucky enough to speak with
Food Network's newest star, the Latino sensation Ingrid Hoffmann. Born in Colombia and based out of Miami, Hoffmann is the
Shakira of the culinary world — she's the first Spanish speaking celebrity chef to make the cross over and currently she has shows on both Food Network and Univision — making her the first person to have shows aired in both English and Spanish.
Like a breath of breezy ocean air, Ingrid is personable, likable, and ready to party.
