For the month of December,
Gourmet magazine gifted its subscribers with a bunch of gorgeous covers. Photographed by
Romulo Yanes, each one features a different type of cookie. The artistic images are now being sold as
holiday greeting cards.

With its festive parties and unlimited opportunities to bake and cook, December is one of my favorite months. Here, I've rounded up my must haves for the holidays. Enjoy!

Let the shopping madness begin! Whether you are celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa, December is the opportune time for

Not everyone celebrates Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, but everyone can celebrate the Winter Solstice. It falls on
Dec. 22, and it's the day when the sun is the farthest away from the equator.

Happy holidays everyone! It's the end of the year, so let's enjoy every last bit of 2007! I hope my December
must haves will help!
