This as-yet-unnamed baby hippopotamus had her debut at the Berlin Zoo just yesterday. She was born Nov. 29, which makes her (gulp!) just two weeks old.

Maybe this kitten has been reading all those health reports about the antioxidant benefits of broccoli. Or maybe someone fed this once even littler kitty broccoli and now he associates it with a treat. Whatever the reason, he's holding onto that little crown of broccoli like his life depends on it.
