Beaujolais Nouveau
A type of very young red wine. It's made from the best Gamay grapes from the Beaujolais region, which is located in the southern-most part of Burgundy, France. The wine is fermented for only seven to nine weeks and is officially released each year on the third Thursday of November.
"Drink it? We're soaking in it!" That must be what these Japanese folks are saying about celebrating the release of Beaujolais Nouveau.
