I saw these simple chocolate Ritz cracker sandwiches and drooled just a little bit. The sweet/salt flavor sounds like a dangerous combo! — Joyful Abode via Tastespotting

A hliday goodie I make every year and hand out (that are a huge hit) is I take ritz crackers, make peanutbutter sanwhiches out of them, then DIP the ritz obutter sandwhich in chocolate. They are delish. IO think these would be good, but would be missing the peanutbuttery goodness, and massive amount of chocolate.

How about using Nutella instead? And adding slices of banana for a healthy twist Smiling

I like the idea of adding bananas too!

I would probably use another type of cracker, I really don't care for Ritz. They're too buttery tasting.

I was thinking the same thing as king's queen, using Nutella, that would taste yummy too.

i did the mint ones for my husband's christmas party. i didn't have a whole lot of success dipping them and getting a clean presentation. i think the next time i do them i'll do a fondue/half dip and see if that works better.

i used my pampered chef tongs to dip them, thinking it would be clenaer. does anyone have a better idea?

oven mitt, I use bakers semi-sweet baking chocolate and tongs. Tongs that are metal and open in the clamp area. I set them on wax paper until they harden back up. They always end up just fine for me.
