Not too big on marshmallows...

Homemade marshmallows taste A-MAZE-ing! Nothing like the regular store bought stuff. I had a dinner party last winter, and instead of a more traditional dessert, I made real hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows. Everyone grooved on it!

Love homemade marshmallows. My grandparents send me Chocolate Charlie every year at Christmas, from Indiana. Homemade marshmallows and peanuts covered in chocolate. Yummy...

I just got a KitchenAid artisan mixer for Christmas, so I'm ready to try making homemade marshmallows!! Yum!

Alton Brown (Good Eats) swears these are better and different than the store bought ones. I have never had them, though, and am not a fan of the prepackaged ones.

What a cute little movie! I love the easy step-by-step instructions, especially when Lauren was drumming her fingers for "sit overnight." Cute! I might have to try making my own marshmallows. They made it look easy enough.

I made these this year for christmas gifts but I forgot to take pictures of them!! I made half peppermint flavored with red swirls in them and the other half I rolled in crushed graham crackers with chocolate drizzled on them to be like a smores. The smores ones were so good! I'm going to make them again soon. Maybe even this weekend! I have dreams about them.

I love marshmallows! The last time I made them it was for an all girl's Valentine party. I used a dash of red food coloring to die the marshmallows pink and a cookie cuter to make heart shapes. They were paired with chocolate fondue and a huge hit!
