I hate beer and so does my boyfriend. (thank God!)

Cute ideas...I know a lot of people who'd like that beer-making kit! My father got one for Christmas a few years ago and it was kind of cool.

I went out to the Indian Wells Brewing Co. last weekend and got my dad some beer. It's a tiny place out in the middle of nowhere, the only thing in the town is the brewery and a truck stop/steak house. He'll love it. I even got a sampler pack for his best friend.

I got the Mr. Beer kit for my boyfriend a couple of years back and it wasn't very good. If you are willing to spend a little more and are in the LA area, check out Culver City Home Brewing. They sell better quality brewing kits.

hollytooie - bummer about the mr. beer, a friend of mine loves his, but I think they're definitely for someone who's getting into it and isn't sure that they're going to become ultimate brewmasters just yet.

a pbr or something haha i think the idea is awesome but that is cheap stuff.

My boyfriend and I don't drink beer, but these are pretty cool. I'd try brewing a batch myself if I didn't know it'd be a huge waste of time and effort!

there are other brands of the beer making kits. We got my boyfriends brother one last year and he's all super into Beer and he loved it. We're looking for refills for him this year!!
