SCORE! I just so happen to be making gingerbread houses for my food blog on the 15th of December! I'm definitely entering this! yay!

I saw a kit a Trader Joe's and was thinking, this may be the year to start this since my daughter is now 3. She'll probably get a kick out of it. I'll see what we come up with and if the picture is worth sending.

Awesome! I made one from scratch back in high school, when they still had cooking/baking classes (and that was only, holy crap 10 years ago! ) If I have the time I wouldn't mind constructing one

i haven't made a gingerbread house in SO long. the thing i liked best was eating as i created. one year, my mom and i used a kit. maybe i'll convince my bf to make one with me this year.

I think a gingerbread kit is a great gift for the couple who does everything together.

I find the kits taste stale. I like everything from scratch, well worth time.

I've started making a gingerbread house every year since I started university and I think I might try a kit this year. My homemade gingerbread usually ends up getting eaten too fast.
