It wasn't a freaky friday for me until I saw this list. I love Bubble tea, but I hope to never try the rest of the items.

Stinky tofu is so so so so so delicious!! You wouldn't know it from how it smells though...

I eat scrapple, its yummy.

oh and mine doesn't look like that. it's cooked through and looks dark, like the top of that slab of scrapple. no one cooks it like that!

Why isn't durian on the list? Personally, I love durian, but it was REALLY hard for me to make myself try it the first time just because of the smell. I still don't think it smells wonderful, but I know it tastes wonderful!

i've had blood sausage in argentina. it would have been so bad if it weren't for the weird consistency. that grossed me out beyond belief.

a lot of this stuff is chinese/asian and since i am chinese, it's not such a big deal for me. EXCEPT for the BUGS. i am deathly afraid of bugs. DEATHLY AFRAID. i guess if any of you want to blackmail me, then you know exactly what to send over to my house.

My grandpa used to tell me that tapioca was fish eggs and so, I never touched the stuff.

Wasn't until a few years ago that I realized it wasn't fish eggs and he just didn't want to share.

I still won't eat tapioca. It's still fish eggs to me.

I love bubble tea, especially the almond milk tea, ube or taro depending on what you call it and chicken feet but the rest of them...I'll pass, especially the balut. My boyfriend is filipino and I have to leave the room when his parents eat it lol.

Bonne - I thought that tapioca was fish eggs for the longest time also! I don't know where I got that idea from. My family never really ate it anyway, so I never really had any reason to believe otherwise. It was only a year or two ago, when I was introduced to bubble tea, that I learned otherwise.

Scrapple is classic PA Dutch breakfast fare, and it's delicious, despite the name. You all eat hot dogs right? No different; except that scrapple is much more delicious!

I had pulled pork scrapple for the first time a few months ago and it was AWESOME! It sounds weird, but you have to try it.

I love bubble tea! The first time I tried it, I though the bubbles were gross. Now I love it! It takes a while to get used to.

I absolutely love bubble tea. In St.Paul, MN there are these cafe type places that are called The Tea Garden and like the name implies they only sell tea, but most importantly bubble tea. I don't like the tapioca balls too much, but they also have they fruit flavored gellies too.

Bubble tea is the BEST!

I love bubble tea but I really can't imagine chowing down on bugs (the recipe for crickets and pupae grossed me out completely) or a balut.

Scrapple is an Eastern PA thing. Even people in Western PA think they're weird.

true, bubble tea is mainstream now. the east coast calls it boba tea. i think every campus has a bubble tea place. even my local mall has a bubble tea stand. as for balut, i think it's a southeast asian thing bc the filipinos and vietnamese LOOOOVE them. taste mad good with some salt and pepper. and of course, no dim sum pass without some CHICKEN FEET!!

i tried uni when I ordered a sushi platter.. not very good.. chicken feet - i ate .. not bad. balut is good its like hard boiled eggs.. dont know why everyones so anal about it. Its literally like chicken soup in the egg.. lol im not making sense but yeah its alright. I will however not eat bugs, or anything that smells.. food is suppose to smell good and taste good.

bubble tea is amazing! my last job was working in a bubble tea (boba, whateva you call it) cafe! at the one i worked at, we made smoothies with fresh fruit (cut CONSTANTLY), coffee drinks with powders, milk or coffee solution, and of course, the tea. but yeah, some people are seriously weirded out by the texture change. you love it or hate it. a bunch of co-workers hate it and when i bring one to work, they cringe and tell me that just looking at it reminds them of the weird texture in their mouths. it's fun and delicious to me!

I wonder why tripe didn't make the cut? Just the thought of it makes me want to hurl.

uni is disgusting. my boyfee loves it, but i think it tastes like dirt.
