i'll take any kind of cookie, as long as it's not filled with jam.

I'm not a huge fan of gingerbread. I think it's too spicy for my palate. I do love the soft Amish sugar cookies that my Grandma used to make every year though.

Definitely gingerbread, but my mum has made a simplified version since we were little and it's my absolute favourite - and really easy.

    Gingerbread Biscuits

    Ingredients
    225 grams white flour
    175 grams fine brown sugar
    100 grams butter
    1 tsp ground ginger
    1 beaten egg

Rub the butter into the flour and ginger. Add the sugar. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the egg, mixing well. Knead the mixture. Roll out, cut shapes and bake in an oven on medium heat until lightly golden. When cool, frost with melted white chocolate and decorate with lollies.

    Yum. Smiling

One of each but that's it, I prefer soft cookies but you gotta have these during the holidays.

I like both, although I'm not crazy about store bought cookies, I'd rather have them homemade, that are soft and chewy.

Wild Magelet, your recipe sounds yummy- thanks for sharing it.

I enjoy both flavors but the gingerbread cookie must be not too spicy and the sugar cookie must be crisp or very buttery, not overly sweet. Just one of each, though. I can't handle more than that. Smiling Drool

I dislike most gingerbread; it's flavor is too strong for me. I love homemade sugar cookies.
